“My goal in every design is to find an easy to understand solution, while avoiding obvious solutions. Though some works are created to draw the audience in by using confusing and ambiguous ideas, I prefer to create pieces that have an easily identifiable message. I find it important to consider every element of a piece, and how it adds or detracts from the whole. Sometimes it is difficult to scrap a part of, or a whole design, but if it doesn’t send the clearest message it is necessary to put personal feelings aside. I strive to be a designer that is dedicated enough to create an entire work, realize it is working the way it needs to, and tear it all down to rebuild it in a more effective way.”
